Just a bit of reassurance to everyone concerned about having 72 referees, some of which will be first timers to Mat Classic. Keep in mind for the most critical matches - championship semi-finals and finals, there are 2 referees on the mat. So, imagine your worst case scenario where a less experienced official is on the whistle, there will be a second official as their Assistant on that same mat. Having 2 trained and qualified officials on a mat is an insurance policy to help us increase the probability that we get the calls 100% correct.
