The associations did not know they were going to 72 officials total until a couple weeks ago. I don't mind the two year rule when there are only 36 officials total. All I'm saying is that now with 72 officials going, and the two year rule, you are dipping down to the 100th best official in the state, and some of them are first year varsity or still JV. One of the guys going this year did not know the overtime rules at a tournament. Have fun with that at state.
