I agree that coach is a great dude, and I don’t think it’s right to talk about Lincoln as a bad team like someone else did. Never had a single problem with their coaches or kids, nice guys all around.

As someone who saw it, the match got way out of hand. I put most of that on the ref for mishandling how he dealt with coaches and wrestlers. He went from being yelled at to hugging the Lincoln coach all while the two kids were ready to kill each other behind him. The ref also missed at least one face push from FW while dealing with screaming coaches. I think at least one coach should have been removed long before the end of the match, I didn’t even see a coach misconduct. Not saying they aren’t good dudes over all but they were freaking out, screaming at the ref, and running on the mat the whole time.

The punch was bad but it should never have gotten to that point. The host school did a good job clearing people out or it could have been worse. I never saw the Lincoln kid do anything dirty the whole time, he handled himself well.
