Everyone will always complain about something. Overall I thought it was a great tourney. Yes big numbers but what girl tourney do you go to that’s not jam packed? You will complain because to many people yet we will be same ones who would complain that tourney wasn’t big enough or as you say not that strong. Seriously just shut it already. The complaint of hospitality room? You kidding? Pizza, breakfast burritos, birra tacos, pasole, baked potatoes. Was one of better ones that I’ve been to this year and way better than previous year. The 4 minute matches I don’t agree with. Especially so close to state go 1-2-2. OW argument is ridiculous because all coaches voted before finals matches so had nothing to do with finals. When you look at brackets I would also have picked Kiara due to she was not seeded and upsetted the number 1 seed to make finals and also had a convincing pin in finals. Same with Berger from Granger, and Pasco girl upsetting White River in semi finals who also was number 1. I would encourage Othello to bring back the finals like it once was rather then get the feel of let’s just get done. Overall though it was still a good tourney. There is an argument case for every girl in lower weight class but why it goes to coaches vote. Quit complaining or just find a different tourney. Someone is always complaining just about every girl tournament on this board. If you are a parent or fan don’t go. If you are a coach quit! Or enjoy what Washington Wrestling is doing for girls.
