Your point is spot on, but it is what it is at this point. It really hurt region 4 4a when the they ran the numbers and mt view and prairie were miraculously 12 kids short of 4a or some crazy small number and they chose to stay at 3a. Not sure why those schools wouldn’t want to compete. That would have helped but it’s based off number of teams in the district so it is what it is. Maybe try and team up with another district next year. Not sure if that is possible or not
