The toughest thing is when a place doesn't know a path to higher education, how can anyone set these kids up properly to take such a path? It's not as simple as getting into a Division 1 college. You have to academically survive and take advantage of the education, degree, and develop relationships that will help you in the future. When their best examples are a corrupt superintendent whose son is the coach and assistant principal trying to sex up students while having his fentanyl addicted teacher/wife ply them with sex and alcohol/drugs as well? Not great.
