Year of Manufacture: 2001 ( Optional ) Engine Code or CC: v6 petrol Auto
Hi This is 2001 S type, V6 Petrol auto
This one had a ABS light on, found fault on O/S/R sensor tested found sensor faulty and replaced, ABS light now off and fault code cleared live data shows Wheel now speed reading OK.
Problem now is the TC flashing continuously,(stationary or driving) no fault codes in ABS, Transmission, Engine Instrument or GEM.
Cycling the TC/ESP shows message on dash showing system correctly changing from On - Off as commanded
I have tried road test & battery reset.
Any suggestions ?
regards Aidan

Did you fit an OE sensor from Jaguar? I've actually done the same repair as yourself on a 2001 S Type V6 and did not have the TC light flashing after clearing the fault code, but I did fit a genuine part.

Hi Aidan
We have had this in the past and i think you have to re-calibrate the steering angle sensor. When using autologic it warns you of what you have to do on clearing the fault codes,
Regards Ian.

Hi
David, no it was aftermarket, OE on back order! Dont think that is the issue sensor reading fine and fixed original fault.
Ian, am sure you are correct, backs up what another tech has told me. I was using autodiagnos and no special functions available.
