Hi Esp fault have code rear fault is C1288 Pressure transducer input circuit failure, Have check fuses and connections all ok code wont clear any ideas where to go next many thanks Wayne

Hi,
Not sure if this is any use,but depending on what system is fitted, i believe the fault is in the pump module.If it is fitted with the Ford unit that is used across the Focus and Mazda 3 range these are common for controller failure,sometimes repairable through BBA Reman,Volvo also have ABS/ESP controller failures on there new S40 range.

Ford focus 2006 Abs/ESp failure C1288.Changed the Control unit for a new Ford item,but cant clear the fault code.Has anyone had same problem?Tried recalibration using Dec scanner and Ids but no joy.Is the sensor in the valve block itself??Any help appreciated.

Yes its in valve block its about £150 from ford.

Thanks Roy,do you know if it will need coding with IDS when fitted?
