Not sure if this is any use,but depending on what system is fitted, i believe the fault is in the pump module.If it is fitted with the Ford unit that is used across the Focus and Mazda 3 range these are common for controller failure,sometimes repairable through BBA Reman,Volvo also have ABS/ESP controller failures on there new S40 range.
