strange one this , and i dont like coincidences, serviced car this afternoon ,changed fuel filter, fitting fram filter . filled filter with forte diesel fuel conditioner and car started and ran fine. when customer came to collect , would not start . checked out , no faults with kts, found fuel pump not working .tapped side and started to work , intermittantly. drained fuel filter and filled with wurth common rail diesel additive , car starts and runs. roadtested car only revs up to 4000, (is this normal?). left car for 10 mins, went to start and it took 3 attempts before it happened. as i say it looks like fuel pump fault , but is it to much of a coincidence that it goes faulty when i've serviced it .
