Now that you mention it, We have had a Mondeo or Escort in with a split Diaphragm, But it didn't cause the engine to lock up, It just Started to rev itself up. would it lock the engine up, ?? as it would have to suck the fuel in either whilst the vehicle was parked up or on cranking. ??
