Was instrument panel, after cleaning an earth under battery found three 12 v feeds to instrument panel plus good earth as per book, can`t understand how I was getting 5 volts before as scope earth was connected to vehicle battery.
Second hand panel from French Connection,now got all gauges and lights working, excellent price and delivery, apparently according to them a very common problem indeed
