Hello Rob, Funny you should post this , as I was going to put a post on tonight, asking how much of a job it is to replace the right blend door servo on a P38(1997).You have obviously just done this job , so could you tell me if the whole fascia has to be removed as it says in the workshop manual as I have two customers with this fault now and the book time is approx 8 hrs to remove the heater box. As to your question ; have you run the flap recalibration so that the ecu knows which position the new one is in.If you haven't performed it yet, the system apparently automatically performs recalibration of the flaps after every 500th ignition cycle(including 1st,10th,20th & 100th cycle).
