I don't know wether to get involved in this job, so I thought I'd see if anyone had look at these before! The vehicle is a year 2000 Freelander petrol with manual transmission. I checked it out on Friday as the customer is complaining that the hill decent fault light stays on. I've checked for fault codes etc on the ABS and engine management systems but there are no faults recorded. I looked through the wiring diagram and it appears that this function is all controlled by the ABS system. The manual mentions that this light comes on if the brakes overheat, but I can't figure out how it knows this. Any help would be much appreciated as I don't like turning work away. You never get to learn about these systems unless you try! http://images.boardhost.com/emoticons/grin.gif
