HI Guys, More Info (see post 04/12/04). When I manage some sort of tickover I develop a total intermitent missfire ie all 8 cyls. This doesn't appear to be an obvious ignition fault, so I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me if it is possible for a sensor or maybe an injector or a wire shorting back to the ECU & causing the ECU to short the feed from the coil to earth thus giving the intermittent missfire, I know this may sound a bit bizzare but thats the type of thing I am getting to thinking about having tried I think all the obvious. The alternative Is a detox centre for v8 discos that are addicted to petrol  TIA Frank |
