    Rover Metro 1.1L "L" reg. Immobiliser?alarm faults Archived Message

    Hi fellas.... It seems Ihave a week of these sorts of faults. Thiis one.. the customer had the batterys go flat in the remote (egg shaped single button) fitted new batterys. Wont disarm. Open doors etc - alarm blares/engine immobilised.
    Ive tried the procedure found in the archives a dozen times to program the original remote and a new one ( one I had on stock) Nothing works. In the end I towed it to local dealers, they rang at 5pm to say they cant get "IT" to communicate with the testbook.. or whatever they used on it.
    So.... thats where Im up to. Im just wondering if anyone may have any ideas on this one...Usual case of customer wants it yesterday - as if its my fault its gone wrong as well , but hey..thats life as they say..
