    Sorry guys forgot this one
The problem was the pats recieving module on the side of the injector pump, would not de code to switch stop solenoid in, enquired at ford and they will only sell you a new pump £1500, enquired at diesel pump specialist and they will fit new virgin unit for about 160 +vat but may cost more if pump shows any other faults. My experience of pump specialists is that by the time they get their grubby little fingers on your pump and test it they only have two prices £500 or £1000. So i informed the future father inlaw that this s hite box of an old van with underseal upto the window bottoms could cost over a grand. his reply was f ck me its only worth £200 is there nothing you can do. With that i decided to take an angle grinder to the rear of the pump cutting off the metal security cover that covers the diesel stop solenoid once this is off just cut through the two wires that feed the solenoid from the module. Give one side a good earth and the other side an ignition feed and a presto fully fixed no longer cuts out and has covered 1500 miles since.
P.S if you do this for a customer warn them that the red led in clock will now flash like buggery for the first one minute at start up, and make sure you warn them to get a good steering wheel clamp
