Hi Dave, Had problems with the remote pats module behind dash also the pump module and had a few where the wiring behind the dash was clipped into metal securing clips which chaffed the wire over time .Had many problems with the ignition barrel transponder faulty but it wouldn't stop the car when running .Cant remember the voltage at pump multiplug though sorry.If your 100% on the wiring then get the pump module replaced
Never heard of anyone by-passing system Hope this helps
