Hi all,
Another cambelt update I have recently come across,the Ford kits now include an auto-tensioner as opposed to the sliding manual tensioner that has been about for years on the DI engine. I am aware that the Transit is classed as a 'high risk failure' engine although I have never had a belt failure on one, the auto-tensioner in the kit is a straight swap for the manual tensioner and the instructions are very precise about how to set it up, and the whole kit is only about £45.00, so money well spent.
