Hi Clive. If it is the same body shell as the Rover 400, then the resistor is exactly the same, we fitted about 6 within a month or so, and we bought them all from Rover as they are cheaper. Also Make sure that the heater motor is not noisy, as if it is a bit dry on the bearings it will burnt out the element on the new resistor. It is very flimsy, compared to other resistors and does not have a thermal fuse.
