Hi Sean, We have fitted a couple of motors to these, ours were also water damaged, we fitted one and it came back a few months later with the same problem, the ford dealers said that they wouldn't send it back as a warranty if it had water ingress as it wasn't their fault, it is situated under the windscreen with no protection from the water that will rush down the sceen when it is raining heavy, I asked if there were any covers or modifications that could be bought, but they said no. So beware and try and cover it up with a plastic bag or you will be paying for a second one. P.S you can buy the electronic pack rather than buying the complete motor if the motor works ok.
