    Hi Simon, I would think that the other wire in the 2 pin plug will be L or warning light, ( D+ ). so that should normally be at Battery voltage when the car is running.

    0.07A is a reasonable battery drain and would definitely not drain a battery in 2 x days.

    When we are checking battery drains, We still use a conventional multimeter in series with the battery neg lead. ( No Amps clamps etc )

    We check the drain with doors unlocked and locked.

    Charging voltage should be around 14V with no load and above 13.5V fully loaded.

    Leave the multimeter connected and lock the car up and keep checking it in between jobs during the day to see if the drain appears.

    Double check the New battery just in case its failed.
