I had a similar problem with a Mercedes ML once. The offside brake was overheating in this case, the problem turned out to be a faulty NEARSIDE ABS sensor. The system was inclined to believe the offside wheel was spinning because it was rotating faster than the nearside, or so it believed. This caused the traction control to apply the brakes to the offside wheel and so overheating the brake on that side. From memory no fault codes either. Worth investigating. Shaun
