Hi Iain I have had the same fault with an Astra H, is yours H? The fault turned out to be a faulty barrel, ordered a new one from dealers to key number took 2 days to arrive. From memory there was a small white plastic plunger at the end of the barrel that did not retract far enough when the key was removed. In live data for the CIM unit key was still showing as present.Also the info display panel stayed on. But I think the buzzer stopped when I removed the barrel, few months ago so can't remember. |
