Hello all
Had this in to fit an alternator under RAC and customer instruction that was the problem. (not chargeing and drain on battery) So as requested order and fitted. Still not charging!! Now the customer wants me to investigate the problem. The battery light comes on with the ignition and goes out when running but am i right in thinking it need the little wire to go live to kick start the charging?
the little wire stays -neg all the time, got a good 12v on the big wire.
Checked all fuses and all ok, alittle lost on were to go as its been years since even seeing one of these. im sure this mode suffers with fuse box problems?!?
i hope someone can shed some light on the subject.
