Well, I must have been a good boy in 2009 because Father Christmas left me a Cruise control kit for my T4. (He obtained it from the VW Commercial dealership - apparently)

It was quite straightforward to fit - the main component is the replacement indicator switch so steering wheel removal was required.

The biggest problem was removing the relay/fuse plate and digging carefully through the tangle of wiring to find the connector I needed to plug the new loom extension (also supplied) in to.

Connect to VAG-com to programme it in following the instructions, also handily supplied with the kit but containing a few typos!

My diesel consumption has increased however as I am now driving the van more so that I can play with my new toy!

    Regards,

    Steve
