| Very common fault on these is where the bearing collapses on the needle shafts.usually on speedo or tacho.Simple test is to turn ignition on then off ,you should see the needles of all the gauges do a little "twitch"before they come to rest.I suspect the tacho doesn't.Usually repairable.hth |
