Peugeot 206 GTi 2001 - Tacho not working #Archived Message

Hi all this 206 Gti came to me from a trader. Tacho not working, changed engine speed sensor still not working,removed instrument panel checked that plugs were secure still not working. Is this an instrument failure or does anyone now of other faults that can cause this. Thanks in advance, Iain
