We have just sold a 2004 e60 530D with 60k.
Customer is complaining of a harsh sound/vibration under hard acceleration possibly from the autobox.
He has taken it to local dealer Scothall who say they want to drain/refill box with an additive ? and a reprogram and they are adamant this will cure it ,but they want £250 for the pleasure.
We can cannot replicate the noise , but the customer being a fussy tw*t wants it sorting.
Anybody had any similiar issues.
Levels are fine and gearchanges are spot on with no other issues.
