BMW X5 Diesel 2005 - Turbo failure #Archived Message

Turbo has failed on the above vehicle @ approx 70,000 miles. I have been told that this can be caused because of a blocked breather on the top of the engine, we have removed this but it does look ok, plus our turbo people say their may be an amended breather. Any help or feed back please.
