I was coding what at the time I thought was a new SRS control unit, It failed to accept the correct code, at the point I decided to give up for the time being & check the info on the module, I disconnected the battery waited 10min then removed the module, recorded all info, refitted the module reconnected the battery & as I turned on the ignition all airbags fired.
before any one asks the module was fitted correctly I have completed the VW airbag course & I was using VAS5052 and if I had done the job strictly by the book I could of avoided 2 black eyes.
There is always a reson why OEM set strict procedures & most of the time they are spot on.
