    No, this is the old rear wheel drive van.

    The engine is completely oil free, no damage to fuel lines or fuel pump

    The "seat" of the fire was the interior of the air filter box, the only other fire damage was the plastic ducting on top of the carb. (And the wiring above it)

    Interestingly, the rubber ducting between the carb top and the air box was essentially undamaged, I am guessing that the damage to the carb top was because of a "Blowtorch" effect from burning gasses being drawn up from the air box.

    The cig end is an interesting idea, now you mention it, I have heard of this sort of thing happening before.
