Thanks for the suggestions guys - appreciated. In the meantime though i've had the car in the other day for another (free) check over (this thing is costing me money now....). Had the airbag control module sent to a specialist to wipe the crash data that was supposed to be in there - only to get a call saying there is no crash daa logged! They bench-tested it, uploading crash data, reading it then clearing it again. Refitted the control unit, checked out all the seat wiring (cut out all the dodgy plastic connectors and soldered together) but still the airbag light remains on! Snap-on scanner now reports: P1A50 - ECU supply voltage P1060 - Passenger airbag deactivation - switch not defined P106F - Passenger airbag deactivation - not defined Checked out the deactivation switch and it appears to be working fine but still the light is on!! Airbag module is an AUTOLIV 96 464 691 80 Might have to concede and send this one back to the main dealers.....
