I've kinda come to the same conclusion! I don't think I'd fancy doing it if it was my own car!! In this case the 'customer' is another local garage who pass on work that they're not properly equipped for but I don't think there are many workshops that would be for this! Apparently, when They passed on the info to the customer that I had gven them he went away contemplating a gallon of petrol, a match and retiring to a safe distance! I do know this guy from a previous job - He mentioned he was thinking of buying a Boxter and everyone had told him to steer well clear, including me! Well... I'm staying well clear now! 100,000 miles for feck's sake!
