Hi Stephen. How are you checking for a drain. ??

If the car won't start after only a couple of hours, then it must have a significant drain.

Drive the vehicle. then using a Multimeter set on the amps scale, ( and probes in the amps sockets ) Connect one lead of the ammeter to the battery neg lead and carefully connect the other lead to the neg post without actually disconnecting the battery lead untill you have got the ammeter connected, Use crocodile clips etc to clip the meter leads in place and see how much leakage you have then.

Sometimes you will get a battery drain that only shows up after the engine has been started and stopped, but drops off when the battery has been disconnected, so you need to slide the meter in without removing the lead first.

( Or you can clip the meter leads in place, then hold the battery lead on tight and get someone to start and stop the engine and then remove the battery lead leaving the ammeter conncted.)

Some people prefer to use an amps clamp, but we still use the old fashioned method and it never fails us.

Is the battery actually going flat ot could it be faulty. ????

Can you get the tops off the battery to check specific gravities. ?? ( so that you can see the state of charge ).

    Tony.
