The NIP wasn't sent to you, it was sent to the owner because it his car not yours. "HE" has a legal obligation to either 'fess or grass up somebody else. (Or show that he cannot do so-which should be easy in this case!) I don't believe that "you" do! You are not the owner and have not ben named in the NIP. Do not confuse this with the case where "You" own a car that your employees can all use. That is a diferent situation where you would be named in the NIP and would have the legal obligation to attemt to identify the driver. If the Police really wanted to make something of it they could interview you and your emplyees but, Unlike the Owner (who recieved the NIP) "You" do NOT have any legal obligation to awnser the questions. (Obviously you shouldnt lie, just refuse to awnser) If you want to go down that route that is. (At least, that is my understanding of the situation.)
