This equates, at 10V crank, to approx. 0.026 amps which would cause a voltage after the resitor of 1.6V<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Wouldn't your suposition depend on what current the supplied item is actually taking. ?? the supplied item could take anything between 0A and 0.2A, the voltage output from the resistor would then be anywhere between 0v and 10v. ?? if the the item supplied did drop the voltage to 1.6v and the resistor was supplied with 10v then the volt drop across the resistor would be 8.4v which would be a maximum of 0.02 amps. ??????
