Re the fuel pump idea. Crossed my mind too but why the 420ohm resistor in the relay circuit?? Surely the 50/60 ohm solenoid resistance would be fine and I can't see a relay pulling in at 1.6V. To the engine ECU is plausible. Its only 0.025/6/7 amps so it looks very much like a signal to an electronic component.. I'll be waiting on Nissan's reply Thanks muchly for the reply Cheers PeterW
