Hi Try A search as I am sure this has come up before.If you can't find it come back and I will find a Link on BBA Start by pulling 3 pin plug off alt,it will then default to standard alternator. Run engine if alternator is good should be charging. As said wires are prone to failing, Remember to clear engine ECU fault codes after repair. Aidan
