I Wouldn't think that 0.1A would drain a battery in less than a few of weeks, ( unless theres an intermittent larger drain that appears when its parked up ) so i would suspect the new battery. Obviously you are using one of the super new Electronic battery testers,??? which are Sometimes a total waste of time and space and cannot solely be relied on ( SORRY ED ) Try Using a Good old fashioned Battery Tester to load it up properly. ( Being Carefull not to BLOW IT UP ) Is it a sealed battery or one that you can get into to check the electrolyte. ?? If you can get into the cells then use a Hydrometer on all cells to see if one is lower than the others. Also thinking about it, if it doesn't drain the Slave battery then that must also point to the battery being the main culprit. ?? SO ---- original battery no problem, slave battery no problem, new battery = problem. electronic battery tester = Phhhhhtttt. p,s Some Batteries appear to work fine whilst fully charged, even when testing them with the drop testers and giving them twice as long as normaly required, But once they lose 10% of their charge they seem to just collapse and drop off rapidly. Hope i am on the right lines. Tony.
