Thought I'd wait a while with this as I wasn't 100% but it now appears to be fixed. First I got the correct security pin and programmed the correct chassis no. to the CIM. No change Then I bought, fitted and programmed a new CIM. No change. Then I went about checking all the multiplugs under the bonnet. With each one I disconnected, tightened the terminals in the female end, slightly bent the pins on the male side and sprayed with switch cleaner. This included both plugs on the engine ECU, a large plug behind the ABS module (I had previously done the ABS plug to no avail) and a large plug under the battery. As soon as I'd done this, all the can and spurious ABS codes in the engine cleared and did not come back. I then took it for a 5 mile test drive during which time the cruise control worked every time I tried it. Reset and removed new CIM, fitted and programmed back old one, and let car go. It worked OK for a couple of days then stopped working again This time there were no fault codes so I took it out with the Tech2 on data display and noticed the clutch pedal was shown as active all the time, removed panel, adjusted clutch pedal switch out and it's been OK since then. Regards Steve
