Hi Paul The GGS will never satisfy the OFT as it does not have a good enough complaints proceedure. The customer can complain to Forte and they can try and sort it out with the customer and garage, but if that does not work they wash their hands To gain OFT approval you need to have a robust complaint proceedure in place which includes arbitration if it ever comes to it. The new Motor Industry Codes scheme meets this criteria and would satisfy the OFT I have had a GGS audit, i think the guy was just an ex forte rep, not an independent body. The Motor Industry Codes will be audited by the RAC I think many of use have now woken up to the fact that this is a very clever marketing campaign. I am not going to run the scheme down, but i have now left and that was before the price increase of product and monthy membership My advice would be to get a decent website up and running with all the correct meta tags and text.....it will work just as well for you, there is nothing to stop you using "Good Garage" in your meta tags or description, i get many enquiries from "vehicle servicing in redhill" in Google. keep your site basic, honest, prices up front and services you offer Peter
