I still maintain the GGS could be a good basis for a code of conduct if it was properly audited. Why is it so impossible for it to satisfy OFT standards? There was nothing stopping a garage becoming a BCS centre regardless of reputation or standards of intregrity. Admittedly, you did have to fit more rigid criteria then the GGS. What is the incentive for Bosch to administer the BCS scheme if not to promote their own products after all? I pulled out of that when it became clear that the 'subsidised' advertising was being subsidised by the garages, not Bosch! I never got the support that was so vaunted by the Bosch rep when I signed up. Plus the requirement to have KTS, about which I've made my feelings clear on more than one occasion, is nothing more than a marketing ploy. All this being said - I'm not impressed by Forte's attitude. I will be speaking to my rep when I see him. The products, while still very good, have crossed the barrier between pricey and too damned expensive! Just my thoughts. Paul.
