Jaguar X Type 2004 2.0 D - Brakes coming on without driver in car - Fixed # Archived Message

Hi, I'd like to help a friend of mine who is a diesel specialist and has just removed and refitted engine and front subframe assembly for engine work. They have renewed the brake fluid in the car as well.
Everything is fine except that after they start the car (throught the drivers window) the brake lights come on and they discover that the brakes have been applied all on their own.
The customer drove the car in before the work so they know it's something that they have done but have checked everything they can think of. Master cylinder has been removed and checked for faults as well.
No fault codes in ABS or engine.
    Any ideas welcomed.

    Thanks, Martin.
