Hi Les
This is an all makes/type note to cover the backside of Starter repairers, I gather a lot of starter failures are put down to contamination by swarf which they assume is from the DMF. Considering all the various problems associated with DMFs I wonder what if any benefit remains from fitting one. Recently saw a DMF 'test kit' advertised for about £300, -the manufacturer should be giving these away for testing these bits of uneccessary 'technology'??.
