How embarresing for Merc, and expensive !, I like this quote at the end of the article, "Both Mercedes and BMW have told whatcar.com that the growing amount of electronics in modern-day cars is their single biggest reliability headache" Their not wrong !, how many drivers would note an enhanced braking with fly by wire over conventional hydraulic systems, ESP, traction control,and all the other gizmo's they are coming up with can be taken down by a single chafed wire shorting to earth, and a 50000 pound car can become dangerous and possibly kill
