Hello Matt Sorry for not replying sooner. The VW tool did work, the n/s bush came out and went in ok. Th o/s was more tricky as the rear bolt for the arm hit the sump. The mechanic who did it for me lowered the o/s of the front subframe to get it out but I think it would be better to loosen the o/s engine mount. Before you take the bush out, check the position of the orientation marker on the bush and put a scribe mark to line the new bush up. The o/s is the opposite position. Youl see what I mean. The lower arm fits into a hexagonal shape in the bush. I'll get the tool out and get the number off it tomorow. Best wishes Peter Cooper http://franklin-tools.co.uk/acatalog/index.html
