    Glen the car is your responsibility whilst in your care. If you push it out onto the street you are still responsible for it. I remember reading about this type of problem, the garage stored it in a compound and the vehicle got damaged. To cut a long story short it went to court and the garage lost and had to pay for repairs. So keep it in a safe place and don't give the customer a knife to stab you in the back. ( He Will )

    I would write a letter to the customer informing him that you intend to charge storage if his vehicle is not removed within a time limit, send it registered post and see what happens. After a period of time you are then entitled to dispose of it legaly.
