This is a 2002 Kangoo 1.4 with two sliding side doors and lift tailgate. Looks like it was originally a five seat but has been converted to a wheel chair carrier with fold out ramp & winch.

Came in with intermittant central locking fault. Remote operated hazards everytime, only occasionally would it lock/unlock. Same with internal lock switch, but no hazards. Found erratic low voltage to servo's. Disconnected each until only a relay click could be heard, relay operated every time. Located relay in ECU behind dash, just to right of instrument panel. Relay soldered to board, one bad joint. Repaired.

    Now remotes don't work.
    Transponders/immobiliser is fine, engine starts.
Lock switch works after ignition switched on, but only for short time. Will also operate once after a long time delay.
Tried all the resets I could find in Autodata book.
Closest I have got to success is reconnect ECU, press & hold lock switch, operate remote.
Hazards flash & locks fire when remote is operated at end of this sequence...but no more.
Don't think there are any more faults, every pattern is repeatable. Feels more like a software thing.
Also tried battery disconnect for 30 mins, will try same & join terminals next.

    Anyone know correct procedure?
Or could I have a duff ECU?
Or does it need to go on a Clip?
