    If OK with flex's clamped, should not be ABS fault as that is still in the circuit.

    If brake feels OK on the road you may not have a problem, It will improve when the pads bed in.
    It is normal for diesels to sink like this at idle and not un heard for them to almost reach the floor. some years ago there was a VOSA special notice to say this was acceptable.

    The main thing is to be sure the brake feels OK and progressive on the road, does not sink on long application (e.g continuous braking down a hill) and that the efficiency is good.

    Merc sprinter is another that often has long pedel travel when new pads are fitted.
